S. T. Alcus & Co. LTD New Orleans copper dish or ashtray...
Found in a Coca-Cola collection purchased recently in Bogalusa LA, my research shows this company was formed in the early 1900s and manufactured wooden beverage crates. Unable to find this; what appears to be a small copper dish or ashtray. Embossed S. T. Alcus & Co. LTD and showing a 24-bottle crate with BUILT TO LAST on front of crate. Below crate reads: NEW ORLEANS, LA. This measures 5-5/16" by 3-3/16."
This has to be rare!
Condition: some tarnishing as shown. I didn't attempt to clean or polish it. Will leave that to the next owner should they choose to do that.
This will be bubble-wrapped and mailed inside of a small Priority Mail cardboard box to ensure safe delivery.
