    Description

    Medium Shanked Curb, Herman Sprenger, German Bit made of Aurigan.  This is a very expensive metal alloy which is known to help keep the horse's mouth moist.  It is a combination of copper, silicon and zinc, and found only on the more expensive bits.
    Loved this bit, no longer have horses.  The shanks are approx 3 inches from the bottom of the mouthpiece to the end of the shank. The mouthpiece itself is almost 3/4" thick.  Mild to Medium Curb Bit.
