Look what I found in the Barn
An Antique Cast Iron Round Floor Grate, Register, Stove Pipe, Ceiling Ring. This grate is in very good condition, no repairs that I can see, possibly one small crack which is visible from front side but not the back side, I have a pic with arrow pointed to it. There is section of the interior ring missing, I would guess that the grate was made this way for the center ring which is not included to slide and or stop. There is also what looks like a bad weld or possibly a seam in the iron on the interior ring all these items are pictured with arrows pointing them out.
Grate is very decorative with rope twist around outer edge. Marked "NOVELTY IRON WORKS STERLING ILL" Appears that someone has cleaned it up and repainted or primer painted it a rusty, red/brown color. Approximately 16 1/4" inch across with a 6 3/8" hole. A true piece of American History. Don't be afraid to make me an offer.
This item is being sold "AS IS", the grate that is pictured is included with the sale, there maybe other parts that are missing. they are not included with this sale. Tape measure is not Included. Please examine pictures closely they are a large part of description.
