This is a rare October 21st, 1923 program (playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and DOROTHY DONNELLY musical play "BLOSSOM TIME" at the Victory Theatre in Dayton, Ohio. (The Original Broadway production opened September 29th, 1921 at New York's Ambassador Theatre, moved to the Jolson's 59th Street Theatre on October 2nd, 1922 and the Century Theatre on October 23rd, 1922, running for 516 performances before going on the road.) ..... Using the melodies of FRANZ SCHUBERT, the hit musical starred BEATRAM PEACOCK as "Franz Schubert" and EDITH THAYER as "Mitzi" and included ZOE BARNETT, MARION ABEL, SONIA LEYTON, ETHEL BRANDEN, EMMIE NICLAS, HOWARD MARSH, WILLIAM DANFORTH, JOSEPH WEXAL, PAUL KER, HENRY KIRBY DAVIES, TOWNSEND AHERN, YVAN SERVAIS, HOWARD SAMPLES, ROBERT PEYTON GIBBS, PEGGY O'DONNELL, ERBA ROBESON, ED YOEGER, MARION GREEN, MARIE COUGHLIN and ELOISE MOFFATT ..... CREDITS: Book and Lyrics by DOROTHY DONNELLY adapted from the original by A.
