This is a rare June 25th, 1957 program (playbill) from the one-week, Summer Stock engagement of the RICHARD ADLER and JERRY ROSS musical comedy "THE PAJAMA GAME" at the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point, New Jersey. (The Original Broadway production opened May 13th, 1954 at the St. James Theatre in New York City and ran for 1061 performances.) ..... The musical starred KEN HARVEY, MARION LAUER, JOSEPH LEON, TED BANIADES, GRACE WALLIS HUDDLE, SHARON WELLS, SHEILA WHITELY, ED HOLLEMAN, HARVEY DANIELS and KAARLYN KITCH with sixteen year-old BETH HOWLAND among the ensemble, three years before she would maker her Broadway debut as a replacement in "Once Upon a Mattress" ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing and minor edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
