This is a rare Shubert Theatre ticket envelope and ticket stub from the March 19th, 1945 performance of the Original Broadway production of the HAROLD ARLEN, E. Y. HARBURG and FRED SAIDY musical "BLOOMER GIRL" at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City. (The production opened October 5th, 1944 and ran for 654 performances.) ..... The musical starred CELESTE HOLM and featured MARGARET DOUGLASS, JOAN McCRACKEN, DAVID BROOKS, DOOLEY WILSON, MABEL TALIAFERRO and MATT BRIGGS ..... The March 19th, 1945 ticket stub measures approx. 1 1/2" X 1 5/8" inches ..... CONDITION: With the exception of age discoloration and creasing to the envelope and a small tear in the ticket stub, this rare set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
