    This is a rare souvenir program from the Original West End production of the groundbreaking ALAIN BOUBLIL and CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHONBERG musical "LES MISERABLES" at the Palace Theatre in London. (The London production, now the longest-running musical in West End history, opened at the Barbican Centre on September 28th, 1985, moved to the Palace Theatre on December 4th, 1985 and the Queen's Theatre on April 1st, 2004 where it is still playing. The Original Broadway production would open March 12th, 1987 at the Broadway Theatre in New York City and run for 6680 performances, becoming one of the four longest running Broadway musicals of all time.) ..... Based on the VICTOR HUGO classic, the cast included COLM WILKINSON as "Jean Valjean", MICHAEL BALL as "Marius", ROGER ALLAM as "Javert", JACKIE MARKS as "Fantine", FRANCES RUFFELLE as "Eponine" and REBECCA CAINE as "Cosette".
