This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the opening of theLondon
revival of the JERRY HERMAN and HARVEY FIERSTEIN musical "LA CAGE AUX FOLLES" at the Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre in London. (Though scheduled to begin previews on November 23rd, 2007 and open
in December 2007, the opening was delayed twice due to illness within the cast. The show finally opened
January 8th, 2008 at the
Menier Chocolate Factory
and played two months, closing March 8th, 2008. The production would transfer on October 20th, 2008 to the West End's Playhouse Theatre and run for more than a year, closing November 30th, 2009.) ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 3 7/8" X 8 1/4" inches and includes wonderful graphics, production credits and cast list on the front and promotional text, performance schedule, a photo of the two stars and booking information on the backside ..... CONDITION: This handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
