This is a rare December 21st, 1943 program (playbill) from the two-night, National Tour engagement of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and DOROTHY DONNELLY musical play "BLOSSOM TIME" at the Court Square Theatre in Springfield, Massachusetts. (The Original Broadway production opened September 29th, 1921 at New York's Ambassador Theatre and ran for 516 performances.) ..... Using the melodies of FRANZ SCHUBERT, the musical starred EARL COVERT as "Franz Schubert", ADRIENNE GRAY as "Mitzi Kranz" and RUTH GILLETTE as "La Bellabruna" and included DAVID C. JONES, EDWARD M. CONDITION: With the exception of minor edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
