This is a rare January 21st, 1945 "Playgoer" playbill from the 25th Anniversary production of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and DOROTHY DONNELLY musical play "BLOSSOM TIME" at the Cass Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. (The Original Broadway production opened September 29th, 1921 at New York's Ambassador Theatre and ran for 516 performances.) ..... Using the melodies of FRANZ SCHUBERT, the musical starred EARL COVERT as "Franz Schubert", PEGGY O'NEIL as "Mitzi Kranz" and RUTH GILLETTE (shown in the cover photo) as "La Bellabruna". The cast also included RICHARD VALENTE, EDWARD M. EDWARDS, BETTI DAVIS, JOSEPH TONER, VICTOR MORLEY, VIVIENNE BELOIN, PAULINE RUTH, CHARLES RHYNER, CHARLES F. CLANCY, EDMUND DORSAY, WILLIAM MAREL, COLLEEN WRIGHT, ZELLA RUSSELL, LILLIAN UDVARDY,  HARRY K.
