Headlining was the legendary EDITH PIAF who was supported by LE TRIO TOLDI, the NEWMAN TWINS, FRANCISCO GRANDEY, the STEVIL SISTERS, GASTON PALMER, ROLLY ROLLS, EVIE and JOE SLACK and RENE DORIN ..... Biography: EDITH PIAF, also known as "The Little Sparrow", was a French singer who became an icon of France during World War II. Piaf was born in Paris on December 19th, 1915, and rose to international stardom in the 1940's as a symbol of French passion and tenacity. Of Piaf's many ballads, "La Vie en Rose" is remembered as her signature song. CONDITION: (Please Note!) There is a heavy corner crease and two tiny pin holes in the cover and tearing at the top of two inside pages that were not trimmed at the time of printing. Despite these flaws, this rare program will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
