This is a rare October 7th, 1980 playbill from the Goodspeed Opera House revival of the GEORGE M. COHAN musical "LITTLE JOHNNY JONES" at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Several members of the cast would appear in the Broadway revival which would open March 21st, 1982 at the Alvin Theatre in New York City and close the same night after only one performance.) ..... The musical starred ERIC WEITZ in the title role and featured JACK BITTNER, MAUREEN BRENNAN, JANE GALLOWAY, JOHN JELLISON, ANNA McNEELY, ERNIE SABELLA and PETER VAN NORDEN ..... Side Note: The show which introduced the George M. Cohan classics, "Give My Regards to Broadway" and "Yankee Doodle Boy", returned to Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theatre where the show had premiered in 1904 before opening at New York's Liberty Theatre .....
