This is a rare September 1959 issue of "PROMENADE MAGAZINE", the in-house entertainment guide for the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. This issue featured the legendary ETHEL MERMAN on the front cover (with her stage family and troupe) from theOriginal Broadway production of the JULE STYNE and STEPHEN SONDHEIM musical comedy "GYPSY" at the Broadway Theatre in New York City. (The production opened May 21st, 1959 at the Broadway Theatre, moved to the Imperial Theatre on August 15th, 1960, and ran for a combined 702 performances.) ..... This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
