This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the four-week, National Tour engagement of the LOFTEN MITCHELL and ROSETTA LeNOIRE musical revue "BUBBLING BROWN SUGAR" at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. beginning September 13th, 1977. (The production opened March 2nd, 1976 at the ANTA Theatre in New York City and ran for 766 performances while simultaneously playing on the road. This tour opened June 22nd, 1976 at the Shubert Theatre in Chicago and closed October 9th, 1977 at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C.) ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" inches and includes beautiful graphics and performance dates on the front and excerpts from several New York reviews and a ticket order form on the backside ..... CONDITION: This rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
