This is a rare October 27th, 1924 programme (playbill) from the Original West End production of the GEORGE GERSHWIN, GUY BOLTON, GEORGE GROSSMITH and DESMOND CARTER musical comedy "PRIMROSE" at the Winter Garden Theatre in London. (The London production opened September 11th, 1924 and ran for 255 performances. Although announced for a Broadway run in the 1925-26 season, the show never arrived in New York.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of the year written on the front cover and minor edge discoloration to the cover, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
