This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the Original West End production of the JULE STYNE, BETTY COMDEN and ADOLPH GREEN musical comedy "BELLS ARE RINGING" at the Coliseum Theatre in London. (The Original Broadway production opened November 29th, 1956 at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City and ran for 924 performances. The London production opened November 14th, 1957 and ran for 270 performances.) ..... This single page, one-sided handbill measures 5 1/4" X 8 1/4" inches and includes wonderful graphics and production credits on the front. The backside is blank, but has issues ..... CONDITION: (Please Note!) This rare handbill is in poor condition with paper loss in the top left and lower right corners, small edge tears and paper and glue residue on the backside. Despite these flaws, this rare flyer will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
