(The play would open April 28th, 1976 at the Longacre Theatre in New York City and run for 116 performances.) ..... Based on the life of EMILY DICKINSON, the one-character play starred JULIE HARRIS (shown in the cover photo) ..... Note: JULIE HARRIS was honored with her fourth Tony Award for "Best Actress in a Play" for this role .....
