This is a rare September 6th, 1925 broadside (single page playbill) from the National Tour engagement of the LEON GORDON drama "WHITE CARGO" at the Shubert-Jefferson Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri. (The Original Broadway production opened November 5th, 1923 at the Greenwich Village Theatre in New York City and ran for 257 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The play starred playwright LEON GORDON in his own play and included JEAN DOWNS as "Tondeleyo", WALLIS CLARK, FREDERICK FORRESTER, B. N. LEWIN, JAMES J. CONDITION: With the exception of three horizonal folds and slight discoloration, this broadside is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
