This set includes a beautiful single page advertising handbill (flyer), promotional calendar and press credentials with ticket stub for the London Symphony Orchestra concert presentation of theLEONARD BERNSTEIN, BETTY COMDEN and ADOLPH GREEN musical comedy "ON THE TOWN" at the Barbican Centre in London. (The concert was presented for two nights only on June 28th and 29th, 1992 with an invitation only dress rehearsal on June 27th, 1992.) ..... ..... DETAILS: Advertising handbills (heralds) were distributed or inserted into the playbills of other productions to help generate ticket sales for upcoming shows and events. The single page, two-sided flyer measures 5 3/4" X 8 1/4" inches and includes production credits, performance dates and a photo of LEONARD BERNSTEIN as well as a production photo from the original 1945 Broadway production on the front and an entry form for a contest to win a trip to New York to see the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center on the backside. The promotional sixteen page June 1992 calendar measures 11 3/4" X 8 1/4" inches and includes the complete schedule for the Barbican Centre with individual entries for the highlights. And the ticket to the Opening Night performance on June 28th, 1992 measures 4 1/8" X 4" inches with a detachable press credential attached
..... CONDITION: This rare set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. These items will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
