    This is a classic Santa Barbara style bit is set up with high leverage shanks.  This combination will give you some good feel and encourage the horse to drop his head when he works.  The design of this bit keeps it in a neutral position, and offers a quick release.  It's a classic cow horse favorite.
    The bit cheeks have beautiful hand-engraved German silver overlay on a stainless steel base, and mouth is sweet iron with copper roller bars. The copper roller bars on the mouthpiece will add about 20% more "feel" than the same mouthpiece would have without them.
