    This is a rare April 15th, 1945 "Stagebill" playbill from the Post-Broadway engagement of the KURT WEILL, S. J. PERELMAN and OGDEN NASH musical "ONE TOUCH OF VENUS" at the Opera House in Chicago, Illinois. (The production opened October 7th, 1943 at the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre in New York City and ran for 567 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred MARY MARTIN and featured JOHN BOLES, JAMES SHERIDAN, ATTY VAN DEN BERG, JACK MANN, RUTH BOND, ELEANOR FRENCH, HELEN RAYMOND, CECIL ELLIOTT, EDWARD YUBELL, PHILIP GORDON, ERNIE DI GENARO and JOSHUA SHELLEY ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
