This is a rare 8" X 10" glossy press photograph of MICHAEL RUPERT surrounded by the ensemble in a scene from the Post-Broadway engagement of the STEPHEN SCHWARTZ and ROGER O. HIRSON musical hit "PIPPIN" at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit, Michigan from January 3rd to February 4th, 1978. (The production opened October 23rd, 1972 at the Imperial Theatre in New York City and ran for 1944 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The musical starred ERIC BERRY, ALEXANDRA BORRIE, THELMA CARPENTER, LARRY RILEY, CAROLE SCHWEID and MICHAEL RUPERT as "Pippin" .....
