This is a rare October 21st, 1946 broadside (single page playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the HAROLD ARLEN, E. Y. HARBURG and FRED SAIDY musical "BLOOMER GIRL" at the Emery Auditorium in Cincinnati, Ohio. (The production opened October 5th, 1944 at the Shubert Theatre in New York City and ran for 654 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred NANETTE FABRAY (who had replaced CELESTE HOLM late in the Broadway run) and featured DICK SMART, PEGGY CAMPBELL, HUBERT DILWORTH, OLIVE REEVES-SMITH, MABEL TALIAFERRO, MATT BRIGGS and RICHARD HUEY ..... CONDITION: With the exception of heavy creasing and several small tears in the top edge, this rare playbill is in very good condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
