New Basic 2-Stage Player Piano Electric Vacuum Motor/Suction Box model DS0-120

Description

Brand new zero frills suction box, model DS0-120. 7 5/8" square, about 11.5" tall. Powerful, pulls up to 70" water vacuum. 1 1/4" main connector, 1/2" connector for accessories like auto rewind, internal check valve so foot pump operation is not affected. Two stage motor, 120 volts AC, 7.7 amps, auto thermal protection, grounded. Power cord included. Wires coming out top of motor (connected with blue wire nut) can be used to connect an appropriate switch or speed control. Flex hose, extra connectors, speed controls and more also available in our eBay store.  It is HIGHLY recommended that you connect a motor speed controller (already included on our DS1-120 and DS2-120) to prevent too much suction going to the player stack - if used without a controller it will quite likely be too powerful.  We essentially sell this motor as a replacement where another motor has failed but the other controls are still useable.

This suction box is designed internally to limit transmission of vibrations from the motor to the box and it is felted on the bottom to help prevent noise transmission from the box to the piano.
