(The production would open November 26th, 1966 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City and run for 161 performances.) ..... The musical starred NORMAN WISDOM, LOUISE TROY and GEORGE ROSE and featured ED BAKEY, GORDON DILWORTH, EMMA TREKMAN, GRETCHEN VAN AKEN, SHARON DIERKING, JAMES B. SPANN and MICHAEL BERKSON ..... CREDITS: Book by ROGER O. HIRSON and KETTI FRINGS based on the play "Hobson's Choice" by Harold Brighouse; Music by JAMES VAN HEUSEN ("Nellie Bly", "Carnival in Flanders", "Skyscraper", "Walking Happy", "Thoroughly Modern Millie"); Lyrics by SAMMY CAHN ("High Button Shoes", "Two's Company", "Skyscraper", "Walking Happy", "Look to the Lilies"); Sets designed by ROBERT RANDOLPH; Costumes designed by ROBERT FLETCHER; Choreographed by DANNY DANIELS; Directed by CY FEUER; Produced by FEUER and MARTIN ..... DETAILS: The 54 page playbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, list of musical numbers and bios of each of the leading actors, but no cast photos ..... CUT SONGS: The list of musical numbers includes "Circle This Day on the Calendar", "Very Close to Wonderful" and "I Should've Said" which were cut out-of-town .....
