    This is a rare postcard sent to a select group of supporters encouraging them to attend the Special Preview Event for the Original Broadway production of the ELTON JOHN, BERNIE TAUPIN and LINDA WOOLVERTON musical "LESTAT", April 17th, 2006 at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City. (The production began previews on March 25th, 2006 at New York's Palace Theatre, officially opened April 25th, 2006 and closed after only 39 performances.) ..... The pre-theater cocktail reception was hosted by ELTON JOHN with proceeds going to the ELTON JOHN AIDS FOUNDATION and included special guests: Lyricist BERNIE TAUPIN, Lead Actor HUGH PANARO and Director ROBERT JESS ROTH. Tickets for the event (which also included a seat at that evening's performance) were 0 for a Benefactor and 0 for Supporters ..... Based on "The Vampire Chronicles" by ANNE RICE, the musical starred HUGH PANARO, CAROLEE CARMELLO, DREW SARICH, JIM STANEK, RODERICK HILL, MICHAEL GENET and ALLISON FISCHER and featured RACHEL COLOFF, NIKKI RENEE DANIELS, JOSEPH DELLGER, COLLEEN FITZPATRICK, CHRIS PELUSO, MEGAN REINKING, DREW SARICH, SARAH SOLIE, AMY SPARROW, WILL SWENSON, STEVE WILSON and TOMMAR WILSON .....
