    Description

    This is a nice and very hard to find "Singer Sewing Machine" receipt that was first rubber stamped in red "Good For First Payment Only". It is dated June 1881. The receipt is also marked "The Singer Manufacturing Co" and it is signed "A C Cooper". It is offered as found.
    (see pictures).
    It was found with a really nice selection of tobacco related items, trade cards, United States covers, stamps and ephemera that dated from the early 1880's. This item m
    easures approx. 6 inches by approx. 2 1/8 inches. There is only the slightest exterior soiling and it was found folded. There are no tears, no thins and any faults do not effect the printed portions of these items. There is no foul odor.
