This is a rare souvenir program from the Original Broadway production of the groundbreaking ALAIN BOUBLIL and CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHONBERG musical "LES MISERABLES" at the Imperial Theatre in New York City. (The production opened March 12th, 1987 at New York's Broadway Theatre, moved to the Imperial Theatre on October 17th, 1990 and ran for 6680 performances, becoming one of the longest running Broadway musicals of all time.) ..... Based on the VICTOR HUGO classic, the cast included DAVID "DUDU" FISHER as "Jean Valjean", ROBERT CUCCIOLI (making his Broadway debut) as "Javert", ANDREA McARDLE as "Fantine", JENNIFER LEE ANDREWS as "Cosette", SARAH URIARTE as "Eponine", CRAIG RUBANO as "Marius", EVALYN BARON as "Madame Thenardier", DREW ESHELMAN as "Thenardier" and LAWRENCE ANDERSON as "Enjolras". Includes a six panel, bi-fold insert (shown in the third scanned image) with photos and bios of each of the actors and members of the creative team ..... CONDITION: With the exception of minor soiling to the cover, this program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
