    This is a rare October 18th, 1948 broadside (single page playbill) from the Pre-Broadway engagement of the MOSS HART comedy "LIGHT UP THE SKY" at the Plymouth Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The production would open November 18th, 1948 at the Royale Theatre in New York City and run for 214 performances.) ..... The play starred SAM LEVENE, VIRGINIA FIELD, GLENN ANDERS, PHILIP OBER, AUDREY CHRISTIE, PHYLIS POVAH, BARRY NELSON and BARTLETT ROBINSON and featured JANE MIDDLETON, HAROLD DYRENFORTH (replaced out-of-town by SI OAKLAND), EMILY ROSS (whose role was eliminated out-of-town), JACK KERR (whose role was eliminated out-of-town), EFFIE AFTON (whose role was eliminated out-of-town), JOHN D. SEYMOUR, TERENCE LITTLE (whose role was eliminated out-of-town) and ROBERT BERNARD (whose role was eliminated out-of-town) .....
