    This is a rare single page advertising card (flyer) promoting the
    original production of the BEN M. JEROME, ADDISON BURKHARDT and FREDERICK DONAGHEY musical comedy "LOUISIANA LOU" at the La Salle Opera House in Chicago, Illinois. (The production opened September 3rd, 1911 at the La Salle Opera House and ran for 357 performances before going on the road. The musical never arrived on Broadway.) ..... The musical starred Mr. ALEXANDER CARR and the cast included SOPHIE TUCKER in one of her earliest stage appearances.
