Vintage 20s/30s Necklace Butterscotch Bakelite African Skhab Beads Rose Petals

What I know upon research:
The beads are called African Skhab beads, possibly of Tunisia or Alegria regions. These typically are made with pressed rose petal, saffron, cloves and patchouli. Generally the paste/clay like material was created, then beads were molded into the desired shape and laid out in the sun to dry.
The yellow beads are butterscotch Bakelite and have been tested to confirm.
At the top of the pendant appears to have a carved Hamsa on it on each side. It's a little more worn on one side than the other. As far as the ring on top not sure if that was simply because of how it was made or if there was another piece that was to go there.
As you can see in the pictures the black beads are fibrous and some show fissures as per the age and perhaps the drying process.
The necklace is 26" long total. The main pendant is 2" long x 1.5" wide. The wire wrapped black beads in the oval are about 1" long. The flat beads with the diamond shape pattern are about 1.25". The Bakelite beads are just over .75".
